This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions and credits purchased on tufty.ai (“Tufty”) and forms part of our Terms of Service. Refunds are returned via the original payment method: card and PayPal payments go back to the original account, and WeChat Pay payments go back to the original WeChat account; for payments made with Dodo, Dodo Payments, as Merchant of Record, processes the refund.

1. 7-Day Refund Guarantee

Within 7 days of your first subscription purchase, you may request a full refund, provided your use of credits has been reasonable — that is, you have not consumed the majority of the credits included in your plan.

Because Tufty credits are used primarily to generate outfit try-on images and videos, we assess this based on your actual generation volume during the billing cycle.

2. Consumers in the EU and UK — Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, without needing to give a reason.

Please note: if you begin using the Services and consuming credits during the withdrawal period, you are deemed to have requested that we begin performance immediately. In that case, any refund may be calculated with a proportionate deduction for the services already provided. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory rights you hold.

3. Consumers in Mainland China

If you are a consumer in mainland China, the rights you hold under the Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests, the E-Commerce Law, and other applicable laws and regulations are not limited by this Policy. Those statutory rights apply alongside the 7-day refund guarantee in Section 1, and you may rely on whichever is more favourable to you.

4. Subscription Renewals

Subscriptions purchased by card, PayPal, or Dodo renew automatically at the end of each term. You may cancel automatic renewal at any time in your account settings and will retain full access to the Services until the end of the period you have already paid for. Subscriptions purchased with WeChat Pay are paid up front for a single term and do not renew automatically.

If you forget to cancel and a renewal charge is taken, please contact us within 7 days of the charge. If no substantive use has occurred in the new billing cycle — that is, the new cycle's credits are essentially unconsumed — we will refund that renewal.

5. Annual Plans

Annual plans are covered by the 7-day guarantee in Section 1.

After 7 days, the remaining term is generally non-refundable, but you may cancel automatic renewal at any time to avoid being charged for the following year. In exceptional circumstances, we will review requests individually and in good faith.

6. Credit Purchases

If you have purchased a one-off credit pack (where we offer them), it is refundable if requested within 7 days of purchase and while still unused.

Once credits have been fully or substantially consumed, that purchase is non-refundable, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Each generation calls a third-party AI model in real time and incurs a cost, so consumed credits cannot be reversed.

7. Circumstances Where Refunds Are Not Available

We will generally decline a refund where:

The request falls outside the time limits set out in this Policy;
Credits or the related features have been substantially consumed;
There has been a breach of our Terms of Service, including abuse of the Services, fraud, or violation of platform policies;
There is a repeated pattern of purchase-and-refund abuse.

8. Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges

Where a billing error or duplicate charge has occurred, we will refund the amount in full once verified, without regard to the time limits above.

9. How to Request a Refund

Email support@tufty.ai from the address associated with your account, including the date, amount, and payment method of the charge (and, if available, the order or transaction number on your payment receipt).

Once approved, the refund is returned via the original payment method and typically arrives within 5–10 business days, depending on the payment channel and your bank or card issuer.
